THOMAS JAMIESON

I am driven by a desire to produce policy-relevant research. I hope that my work might contribute towards improving people's lives. 

 

During my career, I hope to provide theoretically-grounded, empirically-tested recommendations for policymakers and elected officials to better navigate complex situations, especially regarding disaster preparedness, mitigation and response, climate change, public health, and foreign policy.

I grew up in Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, Rotorua, Singapore, and Kirikiriroa / Hamilton. In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sport, listening to music, travelling, and catching up with friends and family.
